Facts about yarn dyes!
Did you know that a yarn dye fabric is often more colourfast than most other fabrics......the reason for this is that the yarn is dyed to the core fibre. In contrast a printed fabric does not have the equivalent dye penetration as the dyestuffs only penetrate the surface of the fabric.
Yarn dyeing is more time consuming and labour intensive which is why the yarn dyed fabric is more expensive to produce.
A yarn dyed fabric will have a softer handle and feel that will make it more breathable and luxurious to sleep under!
